I try to be as privacy-friendly as possible. Basically I do not get or store any personal data ever.
This blog uses on-premise Matomo analytics with privacy settings enabled. This means:
- no big internet company is getting the data
- visitor IPs are stored in an anonimized format (eg.
192.168.XXX.XXX
) - the tracker respects Do Not Track browser setting (i.e. the
dnt
request header)
Also, the social media share buttons are simple links, not the embedded, cross-site-tracking buttons provided by the platforms.
